Booking Conditions

Deposit

20% deposit is payable on booking. This should be returned together with a signed copy of booking form within 7 days. (First class post normally takes 2 or 3 days from the UK).

Full Payment

Full payment is due 6 weeks before the departure date. If this is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to seek an alternative booking, with the cancellation charges then coming into effect.

Cancellation

Should you need to cancel your booking for any reason, the following charges will be payable. The charges are based on the cost of the basic holiday (not including any additional services).

• More than 42 days - 20%
• 42 days or less - 50%, unless we can rebook the property, when we will refund any payment to the level of the subsequent booking
• 1 month or less - 100%, unless we can rebook the property, when we will refund any payment to the level of the subsequent booking

Refundable Security deposit

A refundable security deposit of £200 is payable with full payment, 6 weeks before arrival.

You will be required to check an inventory on your arrival at the gite. If at any time you discover that anything is missing, you must let us know immediately, otherwise we will assume the loss / damage has been caused by yourselves. We reserve the right to charge you for any costs relating to the gite being left excessively dirty, any breakages or damage to the material structure of the property (gite and pool).

The deposit will be refunded on departure less any deductions for the item listed above.

This is not intended to be a sneaky means of increasing the cost of your holiday, and it is hoped that we will never have to levy any such charge except in exceptional circumstances.

Liability

We cannot be held responsible for the personal safety and security of guests (or their belongings) whilst on our premises / using items supplied by ourselves. You remain responsible for your own personal safety at all times. Children should be supervised by an adult at all time, particularly in and around the pool area.

French insurance works differently to the UK. You are responsible for any damage to the property, we cannot claim under our insurance for damage caused by a guests. It is therefore essential that you take out personal insurance that covers you for accidental damage and personal accident and personal liability. We reserve that right to request a copy of your personal liability insurance.

Occupancy

The gites are priced per week, irrespective of number of occupants.  Only the number of people stated on the booking form may occupy the property, even if the maximum occupancy is not reached. The maximum occupancy of each property is as stated in the individual property details. The maximum number must not be exceeded at any time.

Behaviour

Whilst we have endeavored to maximise the level of sound insulation between the 2 gites and also within the gites (between bedrooms and bathrooms) we hope that you will have consideration for your neighbours, both those staying in the adjacent gite and those who live nearby.

Should we consider your behaviour to be unacceptable, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the gite. No refunds will be made.

Cleaning

Please leave the gite as you would like to find it. Alternatively you may wish to take advantage of the end of stay cleaning service - see additional services.
