It is an easy journey from the UK whether by
car or plane. We are approximately 350 miles from St Malo and 500 miles from Calais & Boulogne, using the excellent French motorway network. If you'd
like us to recommend a simple route - just ask.
Should you wish to fly and hire a car
(yes you will need car to get here and also to make the most of this wonderful
area), we are situated just 35 minutes from Bergerac airport, and under 2 hours from
Bordeaux. We'd recommend you use

Directions in brief from Perigueux:

From Perigueux follow the signs to
Brive & Sarlat, this should bring you out onto the N221/N89.

After 3/4km you come to a large
roundabout. Take D710 to Sarlat & Les Eyzies (right turn).

Continue for about 10km, passing
through Les Versanne & La Douze. |
|
After La Douze it is just under 3km
to a right turn to Lacropte & Vergt. |
|
Then 3km to left turn sign posted
Cendrieux. |
|
After about 4/5km (windy road
through woods) you will be approaching the village.
|
|
Just before you get to the village
sign turn right (there is a large grey garage on your right) & 4 large
poubelles (bins). |

Straight on for 400 metres & we are
the second property on your left (after the Le Monjat sign). |
|
The parking is on the left just
after the barn. The gites are accessed by a gate on the car park area. |
Directions from Bergerac airport:
It is 30/ 35 kms & takes about 30/35 mins from the airport.

Take the road out of the airport.
|

At the main road turn right
(signposted Bergerac). |
|
At the first roundabout take the
first right (signposted Sarlat). This takes you along a new bypass (single
carriageway). Continue to the roundabout. |

At the roundabout go straighs across (towards
St Alvere) |
|
At the next round about (500 metres)
go left, at the next round about (200 metres) turn right (signposted St
Alvere 26 km). |

Follow this road, the D32 for 30km to St Alvere. The road follows a very pretty valley, through Liorac & St Foy de
Longas. |

As you enter St Alvere take the first
left (sign posted Cendrieux 7km). Follow this road for 6km to a set of
crossroads. |

Straight across (signposted Cendrieux
1km) |

You will enter the top of the village
square. Turn left (sign posted Lacropte & Perigueux).

Take the 2nd left (after 400 metres).
Signposted Le Pigeonnier. As you turn into the road, there are 4 poubelles
(large bins) on the left & a grey concrete block garage on the right.

Straight on for 400 metres. We are
the 2nd property on the left after the Le Monjat sign. We have a red "Le
Monjat" sign on or wooden fence.
